Exodus 16, 31) The dried product was then conducted into two vessels (the 'testicles'). One of these served the daily requirements, the other one filled up gradually to provide a store for the Sabbath. The apparatus did not work during the weekly Sabbath break, and was maintained so that it was ready to work again from the Sunday onwards.
